Pharrell Delivers a True Pop Culture Moment at Louis Vuitton

Last night Pharrell William debut his show for Louis Vuitton’s Menswear line . Since Pharrell Williams has been named creative director for menswear   by Louis Vuitton in February, a position that had remained vacant since 41-year-old Virgil Abloh’s unexpected passing in November 2021.   , he’s been pretty quiet . However , on June 17 Pharrell’s Skateboard page on Instagram went live giving us a glimpse of what he’s been working on.

The theme for the show was “Virginia is for LVERS”, with the LV logo used as the L for Lovers. He presented the designs he’s been working on , even showing the first billboard with Rihanna on his Instagram page on June 15.

The show brought out some of the biggest black celebrities in the industry. 

Pharrell and Jay-Z performed some of their hits and there was a song played during the show that caused quite a stir.

Clipse song played with Jim Jones diss , while Jay-Z bobs his head even though Jim has begged for a feature for years ..
